Adams™ Plus Flea & Tick Spray – 32 Oz

Use Adams™ Plus Flea and Tick Spray to quickly kill fleas and ticks on your dog or cat and keep them away for up to two months. Convenient to use. Kills adult fleas and ticks on contact plus kills flea eggs and flea larvae breaking the flea life cycle. Adams™ Plus Flea and Tick Spray also repels mosquitoes. Made for use on puppies over 10 weeks of age and kittens over 12 weeks of age.

For external use on dogs and cats only.
Do not use on puppies less than 10 weeks old or kittens less than 12 weeks old.

Keep out of reach of children.

Storage and Disposal:
Store in a cool, dry area away from heat or open flame. Do not reuse or refill this container. Place in trash or offer for recycling if available. If partly filled, contact your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.

It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Important: Read entire label before each use.

For Dogs and Puppies: The maximum application rate for this product is twice per month, and the second application must be made eight days after the initial application.
For Cats and Kittens: The maximum application rate for this product is once per month.

Directions for Use: Shake well before using.
For Fleas & Ticks: A light, even coverage of the hair coat will provide effective flea control. Do not allow spray from application or damp pet to come into contact with painted or finished surfaces, including wood floors/furniture, leather/vinyl materials, or other surfaces of concern. For best results, ruffle the coat while spraying against the natural lay of the hair. Cover pet’s eyes with hand. With a firm, fast stroke, spray head, ears, and chest. If you see a tick, spray it directly. With cloth, rub on face around mouth, nose, and eyes. Then spray the neck, middle and hind quarters, finishing with legs and tail last. Avoid spraying rectum and genitals. For all pets, spray until damp, not saturated. Do not allow pets to become chilled. Repeat every month for continuous home flea and tick infestation prevention.

Recommended Dosage: Note that the recommended dose is about four squeezes of the trigger sprayer per pound of body weight. Short-haired pets will need less; more spray may be needed for long-haired pets. In all cases, apply spray until the coat is damp, not saturated.
For Mosquitoes: A light, even coverage of the hair coat (as applied for flea control), will also provide effective repellency of mosquitoes.

Adams™ Plus Flea & Tick Spray is most effective when used as part of a total flea and tick management program. Use other Adams™ Plus products registered for residential premise control (carpets, upholstery and pet bedding) of these pests in conjunction with this treatment. Monthly premise treatments are required for optimal control and prevention of fleas and ticks.

Precautions:
Drooling may be observed for a short period of time immediately following product application.
Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant, nursing, or animals on medication.
Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately.
Cats: In some cases, excessive salivation and ear and paw flicking may occur; however, these effects are temporary and not harmful.

Hazards to Humans: Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet. Users should remove clothing immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing. Repeated exposure to Etofenprox can cause skin irritation.
